How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”Makiato is built around a few core entities that work together.
1. Organization
Section titled “1. Organization”An organization is your top-level workspace. Billing, members, and projects are scoped to it.
2. Project
Section titled “2. Project”Projects live inside an organization. Use projects to separate brands, clients, or campaigns.
3. Social accounts
Section titled “3. Social accounts”Projects contain connected social accounts. Today, you can connect TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook accounts/pages.
4. Posts and publications
Section titled “4. Posts and publications”A post is your content object (caption + media). Each target account creates a publication entry. This allows one post to publish to multiple destinations.
5. Publishing flow
Section titled “5. Publishing flow”- Upload media
- Create draft post and select one or more target accounts
- Validate media against selected platforms
- Publish now, or schedule (up to 30 days ahead)
- Track publication status per account (
pending,publishing,published,failed)
6. Metrics and analytics
Section titled “6. Metrics and analytics”Makiato stores post-level metrics and surfaces organization summaries and recent post performance.
